A dangerous driver channeled his inner Cinderella as he fled from the police following a chase with just one shoe.
Footage shared by Cambridgeshire Police on Wednesday (1 July) shows Cian McCluskey, 31, speeding through the streets of Peterborough with police in hot pursuit.
The wild chase concluded when McCluskey, who had been speeding when he first caught the attention of patrol officers, crashed into a parked car.
He left a shoe behind as he fled the scene and was later caught and arrested.
McCluskey, of East Cobgate, Moulton, near Spalding, admitted dangerous driving, failing to provide a specimen for analysis and driving without insurance. He has been sentenced to 18 months in prison, suspended for two years, and banned from driving for three years.
