Set for Kuala Lumpur return with first headline tour
CANADIAN singer-songwriter Daniel Caesar has locked May 24 for a show in Kuala Lumpur at Idea Live Arena as one of the stops on the Asia leg of the tour to support his Son of Spergy album.
The tour announcement comes alongside new commercial milestones for several of Caesar’s records and albums.
Known for global hits such as Best Part, Get You and Always, Caesar has captivated audiences worldwide with his deeply emotive sound and intimate shows.
Long-awaited return
Released late last year, Son of Spergy quickly became a critical entry in Caesar’s catalogue, as it explored personal identity and familial relationships. The album and its context has set the tone for the tour’s emotional narrative and experience.
The Asia Tour will mark a significant return for the artiste to reconnect with fans who have long awaited his live performances in not only Malaysia, but Singapore, the Philippines, South Korea, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Thailand.
Following the end of the Asia leg of the tour, Daniel Caesar will proceed to tour North America in July.
Tickets for the general public will go on sale on April 14.
