Arnaut Danjuma admits he spoke with Steven Bergwijn before moving to Tottenham.
Danjuma is on-loan at Spurs from Villarreal and scored on debut in yesterday's FA Cup win at Preston.
He admits he spoke with Bergwijn, who left Spurs for Ajax last year: "I have spoken to them several times.
"It's good to hear their stories. Their reactions and feedback have been positive, which is only good for me. I hope to bring something extra. I want to have an impact on the team through goals and assists, which hopefully results in more wins. The Premier League is the best league in the world and that's why I'm happy to be here."
"England feels like my home," continued the former NEC winger. "I speak the language and I'm used to the culture, so I hope I don't have to adapt too much."
