KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Democratic Action Party (DAP) has yet to decide whether to contest the coming state election under its own logo or a shared one, said Sabah DAP Organising Secretary Datuk Chan Foong Hin (pic).
He said discussions were still ongoing, with several factors under consideration before a consensus could be reached.
Chan also brushed off speculation of a so-called “UMDAP” coalition, saying Pakatan Harapan (PH) remains the foundation of governance while maintaining good ties with Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS).
He added that overlapping seats between PH and GRS should be kept to a minimum to avoid confusing voters in the coming polls.
Chan said the final decision on the logo will be made collectively among PH components, emphasising that unity of purpose matters more than symbols.
