KOTA KINABALU: Moyog Assemblyman Datuk Darell Leiking has urged the State Government to justify its RM24 million mid-year budget increase, especially for temporary UPPM appointments.
He criticised ongoing water issues, blaming administrative delays at Telibong II plant, and raised concerns over RM5.87 million allocated for official air travel.
Citing cheaper alternatives from his MITI experience, he called for spending transparency, anti-corruption efforts, and written justifications for all major allocations ahead of the state election.
