Darmstadt SV boss Torsten Lieberknecht was happy with their preseason defeat to Liverpool yesterday.
The Germans lost 3-1 to the Reds at Deepdale, where Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz struck for Liverpool.
Afterwards, Lieberknecht said: "We conceded two goals from set pieces, I find that difficult to accept.
"But we found our way into the game after it was 2-0, had good runs and good passages. We were brave there. We can glean a lot of positive things from the game and some sporting insights.
"Today was definitely an experience for my boys."
