You said your patience, like that of the ordinary rakyat, is wearing thin.
Tuanku, for your information, the rakyat’s patience with the politicians in this country has already went past the point of no return.
For the ordinary rakyat, many of the politicians in this country had already stayed past their welcome.
In short, many of them presently are on `life support’ supported by their own supporters, not the general ordinary rakyat.
Many ordinary rakyat have a deep sense of frustration and exhaustion regarding the political landscape in this country for the past few years.
The gap between the general public's daily realities and the actions of political figures has now widened to an unbridgeable chasm, a gap that possibly can no longer by meld back together.
A turning point has long been reached.
For the past few years. the political leadership is sustained by a loyal base rather than the broader electorate.
There is limited accountability and representations now are transactional i.e what is in it for them and what is in it for the others.
No genuine representation for and towards the ordinary rakyat.
The vital role that the ordinary rakyat supposed to play in shaping the future of this nation has now been marginalised and soon potentially will be sidelined by the politicians.
Voting is the primary mechanism for public accountability and the ordinary rakyat does their duties dutifully by coming out to vote.
Yet many Malaysians feel a deep sense of frustration when the act of voting does not immediately translate into stable governance or structural reform.
Presently, the ordinary rakyat is at their wits end.
Their wish and hope is that one day, the Malay Rulers will show the way and guide the country back to its correct and destined footing.
