WE will be taking on Kedah FC tonight (Sunday) and the final result will determine who will finish in third placing this season.
It is the final game of the Super League season and Kedah FC are two points ahead of us at the moment.
So, if we are going to feature in the AFC Cup again next season, then we must win the game tonight.
There is no other option. A draw is out of the question. We have the slight advantage of playing at home and I am sure a large crowd will be present to cheer the team on.
I hope the players will give their all and not let the fans down.
Every player who is fielded by the coach needs to give their full commitment and focus to win this very important match.
This is going to be like a final cup game and everything rests with a victory.
I am certain that our opponent Kedah FC are not a team to be written off easily.
They have the same objective as us, but will have a much easier task as a draw is all they need from this match for them to finish in third place.
What a match this is going to be. The atmosphere inside the stadium will definitely be intense and both teams will need to handle the pressure.
I am sure both coaches will plan their strategy well and adopt the type of play deem fit for the game tonight.
The right tactic is important for Sabah FC. The players will need to be hungry and cut down silly mistakes and focus fully on the game.
As usual, an early goal will be a tonic to calm the nerves, but don’t be complacent even if we are taking the lead.
We will need all hands on deck tonight to really push for the three important points.
