If this is your first concert at Axiata Arena, rest assured. The venue is a seasoned host of major K-pop acts, with names like G-Dragon and NCT Dream previously gracing its stage. Situated within Kuala Lumpur Sports City, Axiata Arena is one of Malaysia’s most well-known venues for large-scale concerts. Getting there is straightforward, provided you plan ahead. Below is a simple guide to reaching the arena using various transport options.

Public transport is your best friend on concert day, and the LRT remains the most hassle-free choice. Start on the Kelana Jaya line and change at Masjid Jamek to the Sri Petaling line heading towards Putra Heights. Alight at Bukit Jalil Station, then enjoy a roughly 10 minute walk to the arena. Train services typically run until 11.50 PM, so you can sing along to the final encore without anxiously checking the time.

Buses are another viable option if you prefer travelling above ground. RapidKL routes T563, T580, T582 and 652 all stop at Stadium Bukit Jalil (Barat). From there, it is a short 10 minute walk to Axiata Arena, assuming you are not distracted by anything else.

For those planning to drive, expect traffic to be heavier than usual. Parking is available, but patience will be required. Parking fees usually range between RM10 and RM20, payable via credit or debit card or Touch ’n Go. The most convenient options include:

  • Parking Lot D, located directly in front of Axiata Arena, with 147 spaces
  • Parking Lot E, next to the National Squash Centre, offering around 700 parking spots and generally a little less chaos

A smart alternative is to park at Awan Besar LRT Station, two stops before Bukit Jalil. This option can save you time and spare you the post-concert traffic jam.

Before you make your way into Axiata Arena for DAY6’s 2026 concert, it helps to know what will and will not pass security. Checks will be strict, and nobody wants to lose precious concert time arguing over a banned item. While the official rules for the Malaysia show have yet to be announced, previous events at the venue offer a reliable guide.

Here is a list of items that are typically prohibited inside the arena:

  • Chairs, stools, or any foldable seating items
  • Weapons of any sort
  • Helmets and non-collapsible umbrellas
  • Large signs, banners, or headbands exceeding A3 size that could obstruct other fans’ views
  • Items that are noisy, disruptive, or inappropriate
  • Cigarettes, e-cigarettes, lighters, and other flammable materials
  • Electronic gadgets other than your phone and a power bank (under 10,000mAh)
  • Selfie sticks, tripods, or monopods
  • Outside food and drinks, unless from an approved brand
  • Large bags (bigger than A4 size), luggage, strollers, or trolleys
  • Laser pointers, flashlights, whistles, or similar items that could disrupt the performance
  • Alcohol and illegal substances

Most importantly, DO NOT forget your ticket. Entry is only permitted with a physical ticket or an official PDF e-ticket. Screenshots or photos will not be accepted, so download your ticket in advance to avoid last-minute panic when your mobile data decides to misbehave.

Security checks will be conducted at designated entry points, and anyone carrying restricted items may be refused entry. Re-entry is not allowed once you are inside, and admission timing may vary depending on crowd conditions.

In short, travel light, keep your essentials close, and save your energy for screaming the lyrics.
