DBKK begins CNR drive for recyclables

Kota Kinabalu: City Hall (DBKK) will start the Collect and Redeem programme, or better known as Let’s CNR, starting Saturday (Nov 26).

Mayor Datuk Noorliza Awang Alip said the public can drop off recyclables such as paper, plastic, aluminium and used cooking oil every Saturday at the Kota Kinabalu Sustainable Centre (PLKK), Kota Kinabalu Community Hall.

She said the delivered goods would be awarded one point for every RM1 value received as a result of the sale of recycled goods.
