Kota Kinabalu: The operating hours of the Kota Kinabalu Market will continue as usual, which is from 5.30am to 6pm as provided under the Kota Kinabalu City Bylaws (Market) 1966.

Referring to the bylaw, Mayor Dato’ Sri Dr Sabin Samitah said the time set for the market to open to the public is at 5.30am.

“However, the traders will be given the opportunity to prepare their respective stalls starting at 5am and be ready to be visited by the public from 5.30am.

“Adherence to the opening and closing time of this market is important to ensure the market operation process runs smoothly, controlled and orderly.
