KOTA KINABALU: Dewan Bandaraya Kota Kinabalu (DBKK) expects to reduce reliance on public complaints to detect infrastructure faults once its Command Centre and CCTV network of about 2,000 cameras becomes fully operational.
Mayor Datuk Seri Dr Sabin Samitah said this during a breaking of fast ceremony with the media on Tuesday, noting ongoing issues such as street lighting failures caused by cable theft, challenges in managing vagrants, and highlighting the city’s fresh seafood as a key tourist attraction.
