A recent video shared by a Facebook user has been making the rounds online, showing Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) officers being attacked by a stall trader.
DBKL confirmed that two of its enforcement officers were injured while monitoring unlicensed vendors at the Ramadan and Aidilfitri Bazaar in two separate locations, as reported by BERNAMA.
One of the officers got bitten
Dang Wangi District Police Chief ACP Sulizmie Affendy Sulaiman said in a statement that the first incident happened at 11:30 AM in Lorong Benteng during a scuffle between DBKL enforcement officers and a female suspect after she was ordered to move her food truck, which was blocking traffic.
As a result of the struggle, one enforcement officer was injured after being bitten by the suspect.
The suspect has been arrested, handed over to the police, and remanded for two days until tomorrow (March 8).

Another DBKL officer was injured in Masjid India
In another incident, Sulizmie said that during an operation in Masjid India at 10:08PM on the same day, the police received reports about a commotion involving DBKL officers and several traders in front of a business premises.
While trying to break up the situation, a DBKL officer was roughly shoved, and police officers at the scene later arrested three local men, aged 15 to 39, for further investigation.
“One of the suspects has a prior drug-related record, and all of them have been remanded until this Saturday,” he added.
