Several places with sunken roads in Masjid India have been spotted, and they’re not far from the sinkhole.

One was in front of a police booth about 50 meters away from the sinkhole, and the other was in front of a pharmacy, reported 8TV news.

Raja, a restaurant operator, pointed out that there are often potholes on the road here. They reported this to the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), to which they later responded quickly, but the problem still happens frequently.

“They came as soon as they received the report and it took about a month to complete the repair of the dent. But the problems persist.”

Another pharmacy worker, who wants to remain anonymous, pointed out that she had been working there for a year and had always seen potholes. She never took them seriously, but not after the sinkhole incident.

“I got scared and I have to be extra careful now.”

Another report by Sin Chew said that the areas with sunken roads have been cordoned off, and authorities are deployed there to prevent the public from approaching the dangerous spots.

To those who are in the area, do be careful!
