Deputy Commissioner Preeti congratulated 60 newly appointed patwaris by giving them appointment letters at the DC office in Jagadhri today.
“There are a total of 88 patwar circles in the district, out of which patwaris are already appointed in 30. Now, after new appointments, patwaris will be present in all the patwar circles of the district. Due to which, the public will not have to face any problem for the work related to the Revenue Department,” said DC Preeti.
She said that all the patwaris had been appointed after completing one year of training. The DC instructed them to ensure that no complaints arose from any circle. They were briefed on all revenue-related matters during their training.
“The monsoon season is approaching. Therefore, the patwaris should meet the sarpanchs and numberdars in their respective patwar circles to understand the problems they might face during the monsoon season and keep everyone’s contact numbers with them,” she added.
District Revenue Officer Tarun Sahota and Deputy Sadar Kanungo Sushil Kumar were also present on the occasion.
