Deputy Commissioner Gandharva Rathore urged residents to use the self-enumeration portal to accelerate the Census.

Speaking at a workshop today, Rathore said, “Residents can log in at se.census.gov.in. The process takes only a few minutes and will ensure the Census is completed with greater ease.”

The DC explained that the district’s Census would be conducted in two phases. In the first phase enumerators would conduct door-to-door visits for house listing and enumeration. The actual population enumeration would take place next year.

“The self-enumeration portal is open from June 1 to 15. Once the data is submitted, a unique ID will be generated,” Rathore explained. Residents can present it to the enumerators when they visit.
