Fulham are in new contract talks with Bobby De Cordova-Reid.
The midfielder is a first-choice for manager Marco Silva and has shown career best form this season.
With his current deal running to June, Cordova-Reid told the Athletic: "The club and my agent are in dialogue, so now it's just about reaching an agreement.
"It is no secret that I would like to reach an agreement, but things take time, so we must be wiser in the future."
Fulham meet Liverpool in the second-leg of the Carabao Cup semifinal tomorrow night.
