Manchester United veteran David de Gea is set to sign a new deal with the English giants.
The Spaniard, who has been at United for more than a decade, will agree fresh terms in the coming weeks.
Per ESPN and other sources, De Gea will have to accept a significant wage deduction to agree to the new contract.
His present deal ends at the end of the season, which earns him 375,000 a week.
United will keep his salary at a much more modest level, while it will also include more performance-related clauses.
Such a deal would ensure that De Gea stays at United for the remainder of his career.
