Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea remains in contact with management about his new contract.
De Gea's deal expires at the end of the month and he has a new offer in front of him.
Sky Sports' Dharmesh Sheth tweeted: "Discussions 'remain open' between Manchester United & David de Gea - but his future is 'in the balance'.
"Both parties considering their options. De Gea out of contract next week.
"United looking at other keepers. [Erik] Ten Hag gives no guarantees de Gea would be #1 if he stays."
