The Health Minister reportedly said hearing problems among Malaysians have reached a worrying level, with an estimated one in five people, or 21.5% of the population affected based on the National Otorhinolaryngology Registry with adults and the elderly accounting for 86.4% of the total.
This problem affects not only the ordinary people.
It is also a problem affecting many of our politicians.
In fact, it has reached epidemic proportion that there seems to be no known cure for them at all.
The inability of a lot of politicians in the country to listen to ordinary Malaysians created the perception that a lot of them i.e the politicians in Parliament and in the state asssemblies are deaf.
The perception that politicians are "hearing impaired" or out of touch with the problems of everyday citizens is a widely recognized sentiment, frequently driven by a gap between public expectations and political actions.
Why do they act as if they are unable to hear the questions put to them?
Are our politicians deaf or just difficult to communicate with?
Either they don’t know the answer and are afraid voters will know how incompetent they are to lead and that they are not that smart or on top of the issues or they are avoiding stating anything that will reveal what their true motives are, because it will expose their manipulative character and selfishness, their true agenda.
It has been a long time since we held the politicians accountable for their lying, cheating, and, now, breaking the law.
They do so especially, knowing that they will continue to get voted in every 5 years.
They play the voters like a fiddle, all the time setting themselves up for nice retirements.
They don't answer questions because we don't make them do so.
As a result, we have in the current administration, a large group of liars, cheaters, thieves, law-breakers, and thugs who actually do nothing except to pad their retirement funds.
We need to take back our government.

At the next General Election scheduled to be called no later than Feb 2028.
The majority of elected officials today don't give two hoots about the voters even though we pay their salaries.
We have to do something about their behavior.
In the next General election, let us put people in power who actually spend time thinking about you and me and act accordingly.
