Declan Frith has been promoted to Aston Villa's senior squad for training this week.
Villa picked up Frith 12 months ago after a successful trial period saw him notch two assists in back-to-back games having been granted permission to try his luck at Villa by parent club Chelsea.
Frith - a left-footed, stocky winger who can also operate as a full-back - spent just four months at Cobham and moved up to Bodymoor Heath in search for more match minutes.
And this week the 20 year-old has been involved with the first-team alongside fellow under-21 players Tommi O'Reilly and Josh Feeney.
