SANDAKAN: A body of a local man was found in a decomposed state in a single-storey wooden house in Sri Taman Batu 3 1/2 on Sunday.
Sandakan District Acting Police Chief, Supt. Ramasamy A/L Kuppan said information from the public was received at approximately 11.30 am.

“Acting on the information, the police arrived at the scene of the incident and found that there was a foul smell coming from inside the house,” he said in statement.

Read more After the door of the house was successfully opened, the police found the body of a 47-year-old local man, lying down and already beginning to decompose, found in a room of the house.
The body of the deceased was then sent to the Duchess of Kent Hospital Forensic Unit for an autopsy.
