PENAMPANG: A man’s decomposing body was found near Km 39, Kg Tudan Poring, Jalan Penampang-Tambunan, on Monday.
Penampang Police Chief DSP Mohd Haris Ibrahim, in a statement, said it was discovered by a civilian who alerted the police around 2.20pm.
Responding to the information, a police team went to the scene and saw the body in a cliff bush area. No identification documents were found.
The body was sent to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for a post-mortem.
The case has been classified as sudden death as police do not suspect foul play.
