Kota Kinabalu: With the recent criticisms following the reassignment of a former Tourism Malaysia Director-General, the Unity Government of the day should give full support and defend the decision made by Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing on the issue.
Commenting on the issue, Federation of Chinese Associations Malaysia (Huazong) President Tan Sri T.C Goh in a statement called upon the Unity Government and its Cabinet to defend the Minister amidst recent criticisms.
Goh emphasised the importance of unity and collective support within the government, rather than leaving Tiong to face the allegations alone, which could potentially worsen the situation.
