The Delhi Government on Friday announced free DTC bus travel for candidates appearing for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) on June 21. Aspirants can travel free to their exam centres by showing their admit cards.
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said the decision aims to reduce stress for students and families, especially after the recent cancellation of the NEET exam that forced many candidates to reappear.
Under the initiative, candidates only need to show a valid admit card to the bus conductor to travel free on exam day.
“The future and time of students are invaluable, and it is our responsibility to keep them free from stress,” the CM said.
According to Chief Minister’s Office, the move will help students reach exam centres on time without transport-related difficulties.
Gupta said competitive exams like NEET are crucial to students’ futures, and the government is committed to providing all possible support during such important exams.
“The Delhi Government stands with candidates and their families. We want them to appear for the exam with full concentration and confidence,” she said.
The CM wished NEET aspirants success and urged them to appear for the exam with confidence and dedication. She reminded students to carry their admit cards to avail free travel on DTC buses on June 21.
