Dell Brings New Alienware 15 Gaming Laptop To Malaysia Alongside Dell 14S & Dell 16S

Following the announcement of entering the low-cost gaming laptop segment in CES 2026 earlier this year, Dell has officially introduced a brand-new model under its Alienware sub-brand: the Alienware 15 gaming laptop. Tagging alongside is the new Dell 14S and Dell 16S laptops designed for productivity.

The Alienware 15 is part of the third lineup under Dell’s gaming sub-brand following the flagship Area 51 series and premium Aurora series – focusing on the budget segment, it is available with AMD Ryzen 7 260 and Ryzen 5 220 processors for AMD versions, or Intel Core 7 240H and Core 5 210H processors for Intel versions. Both variants are paired with three GPU options: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 (85+5W), RTX 5050 (85+5W), RTX 4050 (70+5W), or RTX 3050 (70+5W) graphics. While there are three RAM options comprising 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB, these are all single-module options only (with a free slot available for upgrades).

Some corners have been cut, we should note. For one, its 15.3-inch 16:10 FHD+ 165Hz display is only rated for 62.5% of sRGB gamut coverage, which is admittedly lacking in this day and age. Its Cryo-tech cooling system is also simplified down to two fans (on the same side of the laptop expelling hot air towards a single exhaust port behind the laptop) and three copper heatpipes only, which Dell claims can manage up to 110W of total system power. Not much by gaming laptop standards, in other words.

The 15.3-inch chassis did manage to include a full-size backlit keyboard with a numeric keypad, plus dual 2W speakers, and a fingerprint-resistant touchpad that is relatively small by modern laptop standards (no RGB like you’ll find in Aurora or Area-51 models, though). I/O is decent, which includes HDMI 2.1 (wired to discrete GPU), two USB-A 5Gbps ports, one USB-C 5Gbps port, one USB-C 20Gbps port with 100W USB PD support, RJ-45 LAN port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Alienware 15 is available now in Malaysia starting at RM6,319 for AMD configurations and RM6,689 for Intel models; Dell also confirmed that it will showcase upcoming Alienware products during COMPUTEX 2026, with additional announcements scheduled for 1 June.

Dell 14S & 16S

Dell also introduced the Dell 14S and Dell 16S laptops powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 and AMD Ryzen AI 400 series processors; Intel options include up to Intel Core Ultra 9 386H or Core Ultra X7 358H for extra GPU horsepower, whereas AMD’s options are not yet announced at this time (though they will be introduced later this month). Intel variants is confirmed to feature either 16GB or 32GB of LPDDR5X-7467 memory onboard.

Display-wise, the 14-inch can be optioned with QHD+ 120Hz OLED displays, while 16-inch maxes out with 2.8K 120Hz OLED instead; separate touchscreen options are also available. Both laptops feature aluminum-based chassis starting at 15.3mm thick, with the Dell 14S weighing from 1.45kg and the Dell 16S starting at 1.77kg. The devices are available in Celestial Blue and Frost Blue finishes. For pricing, the Dell 14S starts at RM7,299, while the Dell 16S starts at RM7,619.

Pokdepinion: Pricey, considering the specs (laptop pricing in general has been terrible for obvious reasons, of course).
