Ousmane Dembele has assured Barcelona coach Xavi he is staying.
The France winger's contract carries a 50m buyout clause, which runs to mid-July.
However, Sport says Dembele has spoken to Xavi to assure him he plans remain a Barca player next season.
Barca management, meanwhile, have plans to offer Dembele a new deal.
Barca will table a contract to 2027 and on improved terms to convince the Frenchman to put pen to paper.
