Denmark coach Kasper Hjulmand accused San Marino's players of targeting Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund off the ball last night.
San Marino took the lead before the Danes fought back to win 2-1 at the Parken.
Hjulmand claimed: "They were really tough with Rasmus from the start. Some of my players who know Italian say that they did everything to hurt him.
"I asked the fourth official to keep his eyes on Rasmus for five minutes to see how many times he was caught without the ball being around."
AC Milan's Danish defender Simon Kjaer also said: "It wasn't nice things they said [to Rasmus].
"They deliberately tried to hurt him. What was said, I still think should stay on the field. I don't want to hang anyone out, but it wasn't positive."
