
Mohali: Sri Sukhmani Dental College and Hospital organised a “basic life support” training programme for faculty members to enhance emergency preparedness and life-saving skills. Conducted under the guidance of Principal Dr Ramandeep Kaur and CDE Committee Head Dr Renu Datta, the initiative was supported by Chairman Kanwaljit Singh and Director Damanjit Singh. NK Saini, CEO and Chief Trainer of Safety and Care, led the hands-on session, upskilling faculty in first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) and effective emergency response procedures.

CBSA students shine at IDE bootcamp 2026
Mohali: Students from the Chandigarh Business School of Administration (CBSA) at Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC), Landran, participated in the Innovation, Design and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamp 2026. Organised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC), the bootcamp featured team-based, hands-on sessions. Students applied design thinking tools to identify problems, refine ideas and pitch solutions, reflecting CGC Landran’s commitment to experiential learning and national innovation programmes.
