Memphis Depay has sung the praises of Atletico Madrid teammate Antoine Griezmann.
Depay was asked by NOS about Griezmann being snubbed by France for the captaincy.
The Holland international said: I know Grizi.
"Believe me, he's a very special player that France needs. And a fantastic person. He fully recovered under (Diego) Simeone. Grizi will always be appreciated it."
Holland are to meet France in their opening Euro 2024 qualifier.
