Dermatix Malaysia launches See Her Heal campaign inviting mothers to share C-section recovery stories via AI-generated illustrations
DERMATIX MALAYSIA has launched See Her Heal – 1,000 Untold Stories, a nationwide campaign aimed at encouraging more open conversations about C-section recovery by giving mothers a platform to share their personal experiences after childbirth.
Held in conjunction with Dermatix’s 15th anniversary in Malaysia, the initiative invites mothers to submit reflections inspired by their C-section recovery journeys, which are then transformed into AI-generated illustrated story moments through an interactive microsite powered by generative AI technology.
The campaign seeks to highlight the realities many mothers experience after childbirth, recognising that recovery often extends beyond the immediate postpartum period and can involve both physical and emotional adjustments that are not always openly discussed.
According to Dermatix Malaysia, the microsite enables mothers to express personal moments in a private and accessible way, making it easier to share experiences that may otherwise be difficult to put into words.
“Recovery after childbirth is deeply personal, and many mothers may feel that parts of their C-section experience are not openly spoken about or fully understood.
“Through See Her Heal – 1,000 Untold Stories, we hope to create a supportive space where mothers can share their stories, feel acknowledged and know that they are not alone.
“As Dermatix marks 15 years in Malaysia, this campaign reflects our commitment to fostering greater empathy, understanding and support for mothers as they navigate life after childbirth,” said Menarini Malaysia general manager Josie Ong.

The campaign was officially launched at an event attended by maternal health advocates, parenting content creators and community partners. Discussions centred on the diverse recovery experiences of mothers who had undergone C-sections, as well as the importance of emotional reassurance, open conversations and community support throughout the postpartum period.
Guests also had the opportunity to preview the campaign platform through interactive on-site activities, where they experienced how personal reflections could be transformed into AI-generated illustrated stories.
With the microsite now live, Dermatix Malaysia is inviting mothers across the country to participate by sharing reflections inspired by their own C-section recovery journeys. The initiative aims to amplify stories that often go unheard while fostering greater understanding, compassion and solidarity for mothers after childbirth.

As part of its 15th anniversary initiatives, A. Menarini Malaysia is also partnering with the Cleft Lip and Palate Association of Malaysia (CLAPAM) to support children born with cleft lips and palates.
Through the collaboration, the company is sponsoring treatment costs for cleft lip surgeries and providing scar care products to support post-surgical scar recovery, reinforcing its commitment to supporting families and communities throughout their recovery journeys.
