Gigi di Biagio insists Sunday's Derby d'Italia won't be decisive.
Inter Milan will host Juventus on Sunday.
Di Biagio told Tv Play: "Inter-Juve will be a very important but perhaps not decisive match. The Bianconeri have found a great (Dusan) Vlahovic who is finally assisted by the team that raised your centre of gravity.
"Lautaro Martinez is the strongest striker in Serie A, he is on another level. I saw twenty matches of Lautaro when he was eighteen and he was already a phenomenon. He is shrewd, clever, makes movements like a phenomenon.
"Someone like Marcus Thuram helps him a lot, he opens up sensational spaces for him."
