Diego Maradona Jr admits his father dreamed of coaching Napoli.
Diego Jr became close with Diego Maradona as an adult.
He recalled to Il Corriere della Sera of Maradona and Napoli: "He was in love. He asked Nino D'Angelo to send him the songs and he adored Carmela, Sergio Bruni's masterpiece which he thought was by Mauro Nardi.
"He told me of the first Scudetto that the joy was uncontainable because he felt he had won for an entire city and he was convinced that that day was the pinnacle of happiness for him."
Asked what was Maradona's dream, Diego Jr added: "Coaching Napoli."
