The Argentine has been linked with a departure at the end of this season.
But Okdiario's Eduardo Inda said on El Chiringuitp, "Diego Pablo Simeone will have the possibility to extend his contract until next season, it would be automatic if they get into Champions.
"Simeone he is weighing a gap year.
"Remember that he has been at the head of the entity for 11 years."
