MANILA, Philippines — Diesel and gasoline prices are estimated to decrease next week, as the global market reacted to the interim peace deal signed between US and Iran, local oil industry sources said on Friday.
They said that diesel prices were expected to drop by around P7.50 to P9.50 per liter, gasoline prices by about P3 to P5 per liter.
These estimates are based on the 4-day trading of Mean of Platts, Singapore, the pricing basis of refined goods in Southeast Asia.
This week, diesel prices went down by around P3.71 to P3.80 per liter, although gasoline increased by about P1.60 to P1.68 per liter.
