MANILA, Philippines — Diesel and gasoline prices are estimated to go up again next week, amid geopolitical tensions and the increase in demand from countries experiencing winter, local oil companies announced on Friday.
They said that diesel prices would go up between P1.30 to P1.50 per liter and gasoline between P0.50 to P0.70 per liter.
These estimates are based on the 4-day trading of Mean of Platts, Singapore, the pricing basis of refined goods in Southeast Asia.
Local oil companies raised diesel prices by P1.40 per liter, and gasoline by P0.40 per liter this week.
