THE Government has announced that the retail price of diesel in Peninsular Malaysia will increase by 7 sen per litre, rising to RM3.02 from 6 November until 12 November 2025, in response to the recent surge in global oil prices.

The Ministry of Finance said that while the diesel price adjustment reflects movements in the international oil market, maintaining price stability remains the Government’s foremost priority.

Using the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM), retail prices for petroleum products during this period are as follows: RON97 petrol will remain at RM3.20 per litre; non-subsidised RON95 petrol at RM2.60 per litre; subsidised RON95 petrol under BUDI95 at RM1.99 per litre; diesel in Peninsular Malaysia rises to RM3.02 per litre; while diesel in Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan will remain at RM2.15 per litre.

“The Government will continue monitoring global oil price trends and take appropriate measures to ensure the welfare of the people remains intact,” the Ministry said on Wednesday. - November 5, 2025
