DIGIPLUS Interactive Corp. on Tuesday reported a consolidated net income of P12.6 billion in 2025, largely unchanged from the previous year, as the impact of regulatory and competitive pressures offset a double-digit growth in revenues.
In a statement, the digital entertainment firm behind BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, and GameZone said total revenues rose 12 percent to P84.2 billion from P75.2 billion in 2024, supported by strong first-half performance.
However, it noted that there was a temporary moderation in activity following the third-quarter delinking of e-wallet in-app access to licensed online gaming platforms.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda) increased 2 percent to P14.2 billion in 2025 from P13.9 billion the year before.
“Despite a challenging and evolving industry landscape, DigiPlus delivered a resilient performance in 2025, reflecting the strength of our platforms, disciplined execution, and the trust of our users,” said Eusebio Tanco, chairman of DigiPlus.
Fourth-quarter net income fell 36 percent year on year to P2.5 billion, while revenues declined 27 percent to P17.3 billion.
On a quarter-on-quarter basis, however, DigiPlus said net income rose 43 percent and Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda) climbed 52 percent, backed by improved cost management.
DigiPlus ended 2025 with P23.4 billion in cash and cash equivalents and “minimal debt” of P745.8 million.
The company’s board approved the declaration of a cash dividend totaling P3.8 billion, equivalent to 30 percent of the 2025 net income, or P0.83 per share, payable on or before April 15, 2026, to shareholders on record as of April 1.
“As we look ahead, we remain optimistic about our growth trajectory and are confident in our ability to continue innovating responsibly while creating long-term value,” Tanco said.
The company highlighted the P34.6 billion in taxes and regulatory fees it paid in 2025, underscoring its contribution to government revenues.
DigiPlus shares tumbled P0.70, or 3.89 percent, to close at P17.30 each on Tuesday.
