DIGIPLUS Interactive Corp. said Wednesday that its wholly owned subsidiary, Total Gamezone Xtreme Inc. (TGXI), had entered into an agreement with New Coast Leisure Inc. (NCLI), the operator of LaVie Resort & Casino Manila, to support the launch of online gaming operations.
In a regulatory filing, DigiPlus said the agreement covered the integration, aggregation, provision, technical support and operation of approved online games and gaming content through or in connection with LaVie’s online gaming platform, subject to Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. approval and compliance with applicable regulations.
The partnership will be undertaken on a nonexclusive basis, allowing both parties to pursue similar arrangements with other entities.
NCLI will be responsible for maintaining the validity of its gaming licenses and accreditations, regulatory compliance, performance monitoring and revenue audits.
TGXI, meanwhile, will provide gaming software support, game aggregation services, technical integration and access to gaming content certified by recognized gaming laboratories.
The cooperation agreement, signed on June 9, will remain in effect for two years with automatic one-year renewals unless either party opts not to renew.
Either side can also terminate the agreement with prior notice or immediately in the event of a material breach.
Revenue-sharing arrangements between NCLI and TGXI will be determined based on actual contributions and undertakings of both parties.
DigiPlus shares rose by 10 centavos to close at P10.70 apiece.
