Three government premises in Johor Bahru Selatan found themselves targeted by bomb threats delivered through emails, originating from a specific individual. Johor Bahru Selatan Police Chief, ACP Raub Selamat, revealed that these threatening emails are believed to have been sent from abroad. Among the government buildings affected, Menara Majlis Bandaraya Johor Bahru (MBJB) in Bukit Senyum is one that received the ominous emails.
Raub Selamat stated that these threatening emails, which seem to lack specificity toward any particular location, have prompted police reports from three government premises within the Johor Bahru district. The authorities are taking these threats seriously, and investigations are underway to trace the origins of the emails and identify the individual responsible for sending them.
To address the potential threat, Raub Selamat led security checks at Menara MBJB, emphasizing the need for thorough precautionary measures.
