SANDAKAN: Batik Air celebrated the launch of its new direct flight connecting Kuala Lumpur to Sandakan, recently, marking a significant milestone in expanding its domestic network within Malaysia.
The new route operates 14 times weekly, offering seamless access to Sandakan, a city celebrated for its biodiversity, eco-tourism, and cultural heritage.

“We now have more flexibility in our travel schedules, with an additional option beyond Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia for flights between Sandakan and Kuala Lumpur.

Vivian emphasised that Sandakan has much to offer, and positioning it as a key destination for flight layovers would benefit many.
