Kota Kinabalu: Disciplinary action will be taken against Bersatu's Tenom divisional chief Datuk Rubin Balang if he is proven to be the mastermind behind his son, Riduan, joining rival Parti KDM on Friday.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor, who is also GRS chairman, said he will first need to ask for a full report on the incident before taking any action against Rubin, although the latter is seen in a photo with his son in a Parti KDM event.

Hajiji was commenting on a call on Friday by BN's Sabah Chairman Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin, who asked GRS to take action against Rubin for allegedly violating the terms of the agreement between GRS and BN candidates contesting in the GE15.

Hajiji assured that the matter will be dealt with fairly.
