Disney Channel star Carla Jeffery dies age 33

Disney Channel star Carla Jeffery has died aged 33.
The actress, who played Bree in the network's first three ZOMBIES musical movies, passed away on Tuesday (01.09.26), while her cause of death hasn't been shared.
A statement on her Instagram account, shared by Carla Alexander at the Alexanders Talent Management Family, reads: "It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Carla Jeffery, who passed away on September 1, 2026, at just 33 years old."
They noted that Jeffery joined their "family" when she was 12 years old, and they saw her grow into someone "whose radiant smile could light up any room".
They continued: "As Bree in Disney's hit ZOMBIES franchise, Carla shared her joy, humor, and bright spirit with audiences around the world.
"Carla was more than a client; she was family.
"Our hearts are with Carla's family and loved ones during this devastating time. We respectfully ask that their privacy be honored as they grieve this unimaginable loss.
"Rest beautifully, Carla. Your light will never be forgotten."
Alongside the announcement, the team captioned the post saying their "hearts are broken".
They wrote: "For more than 20 years, Carla was part of the Alexanders Talent Management family, and watching her grow from a talented young girl into the beautiful, vibrant woman and actress she became was an incredible privilege.
"We will remember her infectious smile, her laughter, her talent, and the beautiful light she carried everywhere she went.
"Our deepest love and condolences are with Carla’s family and loved ones. We ask that their privacy be respected during this incredibly difficult time.
"Rest beautifully, Carla. You will be deeply missed and forever loved."
Jeffery's career started aged 12 as a younger version of Mo'Nique's character in 2006's Phat Girls, while she landed a recurring role in Curb Your Enthusiasm the following year.
She continued her TV career, going onto appear in the likes of iCarly, Lie To Me, Good Look Charlie, Shake It Up, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and American Vandal.
From 2018 to 2022, she appeared in the original ZOMBIES Disney Channel movie trilogy, and later revisited the role of Bree in Zombies: The Re-Animated Series Shorts, and 2024's Zombies: The -Re-Animated Series.
