Disneyland to lift Covid-era rule next month easing reservation restrictions

  • Disneyland is ending a COVID-era rule that restricted guests from moving between Disneyland Park and California Adventure until 11 a.m.
  • Effective June 9, guests with Park Hopper tickets and Magic Key passes will be able to “park hop” between the two theme parks at any time.
  • The change also removes the requirement for guests to first tap into their initial reserved park before being able to hop to another.
  • This means guests can make a reservation for one park but enter the other first, provided there is availability.
  • Park hopping remains subject to park capacity, meaning entry may be denied if a park reaches its maximum occupancy.
