KUDAT: The district offices have been urged to strengthen their ties with the Rural Development Ministry.
Sabah Rural Development Minister Datuk Jahid Jahim said this includes information sharing and coordination of projects implemented by the Federal Rural Development Ministry in Sabah.
“The cooperation between Sabah and Federal Rural Development Ministries will continue to be strengthened as it is important to ensure that all spent allocations benefit the people,” he said after officiating the Sabah Rural Development Ministry projects’ coordination and implementation meeting, here, recently.
Also present were Sabah Federal Rural Development Ministry Director Johar Julasbi and Sabah Federal Rural Development Ministry Chief Assistant Director Nelbon Tulis Missun.
Jahid said that he was informed that for this year, a total of RM159.77 million has been spent so far, involving 607 projects, compared to RM166.17 million for 635 projects last year.
He also advised everyone to carry out their duties with transparency, trust and integrity.
