SANDAKAN: Karamunting Assemblyman George Hiew Vun Zin is now the new Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan Rakyat) Karamunting division chief.
As a responsible party division chief, he pledged to do his utmost to preserve the good image of Gagasan Rakyat and look after the welfare and interest of members and constituents in general.
George received his appointment letter from Gagasan Rakyat’s Vice President Datuk Masiung Banah on Monday.
“I will continue to improve my service to the rakyat and develop the infrastructure of Karamunting,” he said.
George reiterated that Gagasan Rakyat is a multi-racial party that will defend the rights of Sabahans.
“Gagasan Rakyat’s political stand is to protect the rights of Sabahans and to bring more development to the state,” he said, adding that it is also his priority to further strengthen the party’s organisation structure to attract more people to join the party.
