MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) padlocked another manning agency in Cubao, Quezon City on Friday for illegal recruitment.

In a statement late on Friday, the DMW Anti-Illegal Recruitment and Trafficking in Persons Program said the agency issued Closure Order No. 3, Series of 2026, which shut down the operations of the RCREIGN International Manpower Agency after it was discovered that it offered jobs for low-skilled workers such as kitchen assistants, housekeeping staff, and managers, as well as skilled workers like Marine HVAC Technicians, HVAC Plumbers, and Air Duct Installers for employment in Greece, with promised salaries for the applicants.

The DMW said that the agency charged a P375,000 processing fee.

“RCREIGN International Manpower Agency does not have the proper license to offer any kind of employment for any country,” the DMW said.

Three women behind the agency’s operations were arrested.

The DMW said that all individuals behind the agency’s operations will be held accountable for illegal recruitment.

Victims of the agency were urged to coordinate with the Migrant Workers Protection Bureau to get free legal assistance.
