Manchester United prospective buyer Sir Jim Ratcliffe will have to wait a little longer to buy 25 percent of the club.
Media outlets in England and the USA had stated that a deal could be reached by Thursday for Ratcliffe to buy up a quarter of the Glazer family's shares in United.
However, The Telegraph now states that Ratcliffe and his INEOS group must wait for at least one or two weeks.
There are still a few aspects of the deal that have not been determined, which has caused the delay.
The Mirror previously stated that Ratcliffe buying those shares is contingent on him getting control of sporting matters at United.
Whether the board agrees to such a request remains to be seen, and may be the cause of the delay.
