Atletico Madrid could complete the signing of Tottenham fullback Kieran Trippier today.
The England international has touched down in Madrid and is now waiting for the two clubs to reach agreement. Spurs granted Trippier permission to travel to Spain last night.
Terms are expected to be settled before the end of the day.
Trippier also fielded strong interest from Napoli, but Atleti have stolen in with a firm offer
The defender, 28, will arrive as a direct replacement for Lucas Hernandez, who has left for Bayern Munich this summer.
