
PENAMPANG: The Society for Rights of Indigenous Peoples of Sarawak (Scrips) in collaboration with KDCA Kampung Tuavon branch is organising a one-day course on the documentation of oral history at Dewan Huguan Siou in Kampung Tuavon on March 4.
Participants would be exposed to Sabah indigenous oral history, indigenous customs and indigenous customary territory (wilayah adat orang asal).
Speakers Michael M Jok, Paul Raja and Dr Benedict Topin, would touch on why documentation of oral history is important for the indigenous community of Sabah.
